MEET THE COACHES
Meet the head honcho and coach, Ben Hockings. Aside from being a lifelong runner, Ben has a Level 2 “Club Coach” coaching qualification through Athletics Australia. Ben focuses on coaching athletes of any ability to perform well in endurance or ultra events.
Ben’s is currently doing an intake of runners of any ability who are after someone to be accountable to in their training. Numbers are limited to 12 runners at any one time so spots will be competitive. Email Ben for further information email@example.com

Based in the inner-north eastern suburbs of Adelaide, Paul is an experienced runner and qualified coach. The 2016 SA Track 100km Champion, Paul also takes the Friday morning speed group at the Uni Loop with Ben. Paul makes an excellent coach and is available to write your next event training plan.
Annie is an experienced and passionate runner from the Adelaide Hills. She is a regular and popular face around Yumigo! events, and we feel very lucky to have her as one of our qualified coaches. Annie is available for plans and/or one on ones.
Daniel is the lead coach at Distance Runners Unlimited, and brings the next level of enthusiasm and love of running to the sport. Daniel is based in the Gorge Road area of Adelaide, and both writes plans and conducts detailed training sessions in his local area. If it’s technical improvement you want, then Dan is your man.
We now have two free group training sessions per week.
Every Wednesday Annie Braddon hosts a speed session for beginners, those who are coming back from injury, or those just new to speed workouts. These groups go for one hour, and start at 5.30am at the Uni Loop on the corner of Jerningham St and Mackinnon Parade, North Adelaide. There’s no need to register, just turn up!
We also have a one-hour Friday morning speed session at the Uni Loop, starting at 5.30am sharp at the same spot as above. The group is for anyone from the newest to the fastest, is fun to be a part of, and we handicap the intervals to ensure everyone feels included.
