An iconic South Australian trail running race, the Heysen 105 is an endurance event like no other in Australia. Traversing a 105km section of the 1200km-long Heysen Trail, competitors experience the best trail running has to offer in the state, taking in rolling farmland, sandy forests, rocky hillsides and lots lots more.
The views are spectacular through the magnificent conservation parks, with the backdrop of gum trees, abundant wildlife and wide open spaces making this a truly Australian experience.
There is a choice of 35km, 57km, and 105km events, for everyone from a “newbie” to trail running up to those who want to test their limits to the extreme.
Events start at 6.00am and 7.00am (depending on what wave you are in). The 35km has a cutoff of 2.30pm, the 57km has a cutoff of 7.00pm, and the 105km has a cutoff of 7.00am on Sunday morning.
Bus seats are available to purchase via the entry form, depending on your chosen wave start, and location.

Every finisher of every event receives a medal, except for those that finish in under 16 hours for the 105km. These finishers will receive our unique event buckle.
All events are catered and the courses marked, but be aware a mandatory gear list still applies to each event.
As always, Susan Stevens and her amazing staff from First In Sports First Aid will be located at every checkpoint at all times.
And of course how can we forget, our enthusiastic volunteers will be on hand to care for you at each checkpoint.
